We were curious about which brands our mum and dad influencers liked working with most and why.

So we asked them.

There were three main reasons given why they liked working with certain brands so much:

  1. Good communication

Our mums love it when a brand is friendly and communicative. This tops all other factors when rating brands as good to work with.

“My favourite collaborations are ones where we have a good working relationship.”

“The best brands I’ve worked with had great communication.”

“I’m working with a brand right now who are so friendly and professional.”

“I love collaborative projects with brands who try to maintain a long term relationship.”

“My favourite collaborations are ones where we get a great experience as well as a good working relationship.”

  1. Freedom to create

Influencers also really appreciate it when brands give them creative freedom and a clear brief.

“The best brands give you free reign and let you take control of the content which you know suits your account and will appeal to people.”

“I really enjoy collabs where the content is fun to create”

“They gave a really good outline of what they were looking for.”

“They were really easy going and no pressure of when to post. They also liked natural content”.

  1. Prompt payment

When they’ve finished their work, mum influencers like (and remember) being paid promptly.

“They paid well and in less than 30 days.”

“When you’ve put in a lot of work, it’s nice not to have to chase payment.”

“They paid in 14 days – amazing.”
